Ain Beida (Algeria)- 09.08.1934: Report from the interpreter Lieutenant Martin to the office's director of Indigenous Affairs in Algiers - a copy of the report then sent to Mr. Vigouroux, government adviser and head of the Commission of Inquiry on the riots in Ain Beida.
The report describes the nomads' behavior in Ain Beida during the antisemitic riots that occured in the city following the Constantine pogrom. The interpreter attributes the responsibility for the violence to the natives and not to the "Nomads".
