This archive contains the personal and professional correspondences of First Lieutenant S M Koffler, an officer in the Psychological Warfare Branch of the Allied command facilities in Rabat, Morocco. His war documents, dated between late 1943 and 1944, detail the range of his interaction with local communities as well as many of his daily tasks. His personal letters offer a glimpse into the perceptions of a foreigner living in an Arab land during the war. His professional letter offer a great deal of detail onto the planning and goals of Allied broadcasts during the war
