Reports on the political and social situation in Algeria

The report was issued by the German consul in Algeria and was sent to the Foreign Office in Berlin between 1936-1938.
One can see that unlike the former consul Tadenga the new consul Richter is a true Nazi. His reports focuses more on the Jewish part as leaders of  the Communist Party and he was surprised by the fact that many Arabs are members. The report  described in great detail the internal affirms of Algeria. The relation between French, Arabs and Jews, were discussed highlighting the fact that Jews are being preferred by the French  regime due to the Cremieux decree.
