Correspondance between the Constantine prefecture (Algeria) and the Office for Jewish Affairs in Vichy; November 3, 1941

Letter sent by the Constantine prefecture to the Office for Jewish Affairs in Vichy with informations concerning the census of the Jewish population in some cities of the aforementionned prefecture.

An answer from the Philippeville mayor to the request of the Constantine prefect concerning the number of Jews living in the city and allowed to receive food rations. A document previously attached to this letter that would have deliver the data is now lost.

Letter adressed by the Constantine prefect to the mayor of Philippeville in which he requests to know the number of Jews living in the city and allowed to receive food rations (in accordance with a circular published on November 14, 1941).

Complaint concerning the degradation of the status of Mrs Raymond in accordance with the Vichy anti-Jewish legislation, 09/10/1941

Letter sent by Mr. Bernard Raymond to the Governor General of Algeria in which he requests to modify the status of his wife, which was worsened from "French citizen" to "local Jew" following the Vichy anti-Jewish legislation. A copy of this letter was sent to the Constantine prefect.
