This article transcribes the words of Elie Gozlan and Benjamin Eller, two delegates from Algeria who attended the World Jewish Congress in Atlantic-City. The two men talk about Algeria (the severe restrictions that took place in Algeria with the suffocating atmosphere of Vichy and the allied landings) and their impressions of New York (the vertigo at the sight of the skyscrapers, the kindness of the population, the nobility of the democratic world). Mr. Gozlan adds: "No one in our country can fail to recognize the magnitude of the sacrifices that America is making to hasten the liberation of the oppressed peoples, to assure the world the peace to which it aspires.
