Addendum to Telegram from 11th of December (not in the collection), stating that whether Rahn nor other officers know about the alleged establishment of an Arab battalion, which – he explains – wouldn´t be tolerated by the Bey as long as the Desturian-Party doesn´t expand its influence in the population. Also the worth of the population – especially in cities – is estimated to be minor for war-purposes.
