Letter from Rahn to the German embassy in Paris, explaining the successful efforts to prevent treason at Bizerta but also the strategic dilemma over the French garrison as a possible landing point for the allied forces, nonetheless considering a forceful disarming as unfavorable. Proposes the idea of Kesselring to obtain an order by Petain to the army to peacefully leave Bizerta in exchange for French war prisoners and therefore sends Möllhausen to Germany (see Rahn_Dec24_page 4) to requests an answer to this proposal.
