Letter from Victor Gattan (V. Gattan), Jewish lawyer in Tunis, to the French resident-general in Tunisia, Tunis (Tunisia), 01.09.1917. Thank-you letter about the violent incidents between Jews and Muslims in the country. The letter was then sent to the French Minister of Foreign Affairs, accompanied in a report (see Archives Aix-en-Provence, file 1H34 – pp. 7771-7756), written by the French resident-general in Tunisia.
