Document from the Foreign Ministry, titled “Geheime Kommandosache” containing a telegram from Rahn, containing instructions to forward an enclosed Telegram from the Swiss consul and the Bey of Tunisia to the Swiss Government (page 53). It mentions the request of the Bey to declare Tunis a “offene Stadt” (open city), which Rahn declines, reasoning that it wouldn´t prevent the continuation of british bombardments. Handwritten version enclosed.
