Baccalaureate at Yom Kipur

First document: letter dated 31.8.1944, Casablanca, written by Alfonso Sabah, Director of the Jewish Association Charles Netter in Casablanca to Rafael Ben-Azaraf, Director of "La Voix Juive" in Morocco. In his letter, Sabah proposes to the Jews of Morocco to unite with the Jews of Tunis against the decision of the French Education Ministry to date baccalaureate exam on Yom Kipur, as noted in the telegram joined (second document).

Box 3, file 20, document 85Article from 1944, Casablanca, by Leon Ninio, sent by Rafael Ben Azaraf, the Director of "La Voix Juive" in Morocco to be published in "La Voix Juive" in Tunis. The article reports on Hebrew studies at the Alliance in Fez and on the farewell party of Marco Cohen, the Hebrew teacher going back to Palestine. 

"Amram Guernish y el civismo judio"

Undated speech without signature, 23 pages, in Spanish, entitled "Amram Guarnish y el civismo judio". The speech is in honor of the fifth comemoration of the death of Guarnish (President of the Sociedad Mattan Beseter") . The topics of the speech are: public spirit of the Jews in history, philosophy, social and religious aspects of the community, and the racism against the Jews with Guarnish's quotes.

Historical overview of the Jews of Tetouan' in Spanish (22 pages) by Leon  Coriat untitled "Mi Communidad" (1954). The review starts from the expulsion (from Spain in 1492 until the early 20th century and describes the Jewish community life in the city (traditions, rabbis, relations with the Muslims).
