Translation of a letter from Jacques Oettinger to the Lisbon office of HICEM, an organization established to help Jews emmigrate from Europe.
The letter letter discusses the process involved in liberating prisoners of war and refugees from the Czech and Polish Armies. Also discussed: the difficulties of freeing stateless ex-Germans and ex-Austrians, who may be considered nationals of enemy countries.

A detailed report on the living conditions in the Camp of Djerrada
The report was written by Dr. Wyss-Dunant for the Red Cross after he visited the camp on July 28, 1942. The report includes information on the living conditions: number of internees, food, hygiene, medical services and clothing. The report also includes information on other aspects of daily life such as education and cultural services and postal services.
