Telegram from Rahn to the German Embassy in Paris, explaining the successful efforts to prevent treason at Bizerte but also the strategic dilemma over the French garrison as a possible landing point for the Allied forces. Nonetheless, he considers a forceful disarming as unfavorable. He proposes the idea of Kesselring to obtain a military order by Pétain to peacefully leave Bizerta in exchange for French war prisoners. Therefore he has sent Möllhausen to Germany, requesting an answer to this proposal.
