Telegram from Rahn to the Foreign Ministry, relaying the congratulations of the Bey for the German population and the “Führer” and informing the Ministry about the dismissal of the former ministers by the Bey with the aim of establishing a more nationalistic government. Rahn estimates that this would be favorable for the German propaganda strategies and expects anticolonialist intentions to be dampened by the differences between the nationalist groups. He promises to give a detailed overview over the new ministers and favours side of the Bey, if a conflict with the French Residency should occur.
