Description
Sworn Statment made my Mansfeld Rommel regarding his father’s suicide. Mansfeld lays out the series of events which occured leading up to his father’s death. He accounts that, following a meeting with SS generals, his father exited his mother’s room and told Mansfeld that Hitler’s orders be either to testify publicly or commit suicide. The latter option would ensure his family remain safe and supported. Mansfeld states that suicide was indeed the option that Erwin Rommel took.
