American Jewish Year Book, Pages 198-199, Dealing the story of a non-Jewish Portuguese man who traveled to Morocco  in November 1941 and tells about the labour work that was enforced on Jews in constructing the Trans Saharan rail between Dakar and North Africa. The workers suffered from malnutrition, hunger, thirst, diseases and lack of medical equipment.
