Description

This report highlights several elements:

1. Certain Ulemas and members of the Algerian People’s Party obey the suggestions of the Arab announcers of radio-Berlin and spread the rumor that the conditions of peace would establish the independence of Algeria, of which they would become the leaders. According to other rumors, Spain would claim Orania.

2. The natives hate Spain and Italy; these two nations employed rigorous penetration methods in the Riff, and in Ethiopia and Libya.

3. Algerian natives want to become French.

4. The propaganda by TSF, the facilities granted by the Germans for the repatriation to Algeria of the natives of the occupied zone show the will to reconcile the sympathy of the natives.

5. To make the Administration simpler which is complicated for the native of the campaigns, by putting in place deep reforms.
