May 2, 1942 – Letter sent by the Mayor to the Prefect of Constantine giving a copy of judicial decisions taken by the Judge of Peace of the Canton of Constantine on December 6, 13, 19, 1940 and January 6 and February 25, 1941.

– December 6, 1940 – Judge Louis MARCELLI, assisted by Maître Doukhan Lévi, assistant to the court clerk, in view of the statements made on 11/25/1940 by 40 people (all men) whose names and addresses are specified, and who produce for some a diploma of the Military Medal, for others a diploma of Chevalier of the Legion of Honor or citations awarding the Croix de Guerre, declares that they all retain “the political status of French citizen”.

– December 13, 1940 – Identical decision, in view of the statements made on 11/27/1940 by 113 people (all men) whose names and addresses are specified, and who for the most part produce citations awarding the Croix de Guerre, declares that they all retain “the political status of French citizen”.

– December 19, 1940 – Identical decision, in view of the statements made by 11 people (all men) whose names and addresses are specified, and who produce for the most part citations attributing the Croix de Guerre, declares that they all keep “the political status of French citizen”.

– January 6, 1941 – Judge Louis MARCELLI, assisted by Maître BOULANGER, Court clerk, in view of the statements made by 14 people (all men) whose names and addresses are specified, and who mostly produce citations awarding the Croix de Guerre, declares that they all retain “the political status of French citizen”.

– February 25, 1941 – Judge Louis MARCELLI, assisted by Maître Baka Hocine, assistant to the court clerk, in view of the statements made by 3 people (all men) whose names and addresses are specified, and who produce for the most part citations attributing the Croix de Guerre, declares that they all retain “the political status of French citizen”.
