January 1, 1940 (1941?) – The Minister Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs writes in two separate letters to General Noguès, Resident General of France in Rabat to notify him that in application of the decree of November 1, 1940 (!) taken by application of the law of July 22, French nationality was withdrawn respectively from Mrs. Mercedes Attias, wife of Mr. Gorsse, and « from the so-called Fatima bent el-Houssine ben-Ali, wife of Mr. Dantes ». The General Resident is requested « to take the necessary measures for the application of this decree » and to inform those concerned. Note the inconsistency of the dates.
