Description

This report describes the many incidents that occurred on the occasion of the neighborhood party, especially during a ball. About fifty young people wearing tricolor cockades, for the most part “national volunteers”, provoked the Israelite families who had gone to this feast by pushing them voluntarily. The Israelites who did not respond to these attacks went to sit at their tables. The young people continued by ordering them to come out: “You are Jews, please leave, we don’t want them here, if not, we’ll beat you up.” The Jewish families and also a captain of the 3rd regiment of African Chasseurs d’Afrique Mr. Noël with a uniform, who was not an Israelite, were forced to leave, despite the presence of the commissioner and the police service.
