Description

Reports dated June 30, 1936. The first report does not mention to whom it was sent. It reproduces a circular, communication from Paris dated June 24 from Colonel DE LA ROCQUE, addressed to « members of the Croix de Feu movement, which has become the French Social Party », following the dissolution by the Government of the « Croix de Feu » and «National Volunteers». The Colonel concludes with « Our three colors will win, it’s a matter of tenacity, of will. You are not lacking in these qualities and neither is your boss ». Everyone is asked to remain calm and dignified in the face of provocation.

The second report is addressed to the Prefect of Constantine and bears a « Secret » stamp. It reports that the premises rented by the organization «Croix de Feu » have been closed since June 27 and that « the supporters of Croix de Feu are currently busy reforming their troops very firmly by transforming them into the French Social Party».
