Report dated July 3, 1936. He relates a meeting, the day before, of the Socialist Youth, among which « five French, five natives, and twenty Israelites ».
A speaker reads a text written in France, « protesting against the misery of the Arab people exploited by the capitalist rulers ». He encourages the participants to calmly « resist oppression by strikes » and « by their demeanor to be sympathetic to the population ». He urges them to come in large numbers to the July 14 popular rally and shout « Long live the Army, the soldiers with us », in order « to win the good favor of the troops ». He specifies that in the future « our centers of socialist education will be organized ». « The meeting is adjourned … without incident ».
