The purpose of this meeting is to constitute a Vigilance Committee for the defense of Israelite moral interests and to collect significant funds to “defend the Republic against those who want its destruction. But also to meet the travel expenses of members who will go to the General Government and the Ministry of the Interior in order to denounce the danger of anti-Semitism to the Public Authorities. Various people give their opinion about the creation of this Committee. Some are against and consider that the LICA (International League against anti-Semitism) already pursues this same goal. Finally, the principle of the creation of the Committee is adopted by a strong majority. The provisional Bureau is formed.
