Pages 13-14: Letter to mother. Account of Kassman’s jaundice and subsequent arrival in Algeria, as well as his activities post-discharge from the hospital and then the Convalescence Depot (journey to Training Depot where Kassman is writing from). Account of some of the many interesting people Kassman met in the process. Kassman is now in good health and hoping to return to Italy as soon as possible.
