Page 13: Double airgraph to mother (two airgraphs written and sent together as one letter). Kassman attended a military Purim service on Sunday (officiated by Mr. Rabinowitz – see earlier letters). Mentioned: George Williams. Kassman’s camp is about 100 yards away from a Senussi “encampment”. Fairly detailed description of the Senussi – economic situation, ways of dressing, jewelry, mourning customs (two Senussi were killed by an Army truck).
