Description
This Legion leaflet, reproducing a quote from Marshal Pétain, was affixed to the doors of Jewish houses. It reads: “The rules of the political game consisted in stirring up all legitimate or illegitimate motives for irritation, to the point of making our people, who were then one of the happiest on earth, believe that they were the most deprived” (August 13, 1940).
