Description
During the national day of mourning on March 1, the ceremonies took place without incident and in the presence of the authorities, at the Mosque, the Cathedral, the Protestant Temple, the synagogue and the war memorial. Inscriptions were found on the route leading to the war memorial: “Vive Pétain, down with the Jews, down with England, etc.”
