Description

This report provides information on the political situation; especially :

1. The French Empire under the orders of Admiral Darlan and the Empire of Algeria, under the orders of the general Chatel government, enter the war more each day, in order to ensure a Victory alongside the Allies and to liberate France.

2. The appointment of General Giraud, Commander-in-Chief of the Land, Sea, and Air Forces, High Commissioner in French Africa, following the assassination of Admiral Darlan.

3. The necessary Union of all French people, is essential to the success of military operations.

4. Mobilization with the reconstitution in French Africa of a well-trained and equipped army.

5. The urgency of supplies in Algeria.
