August 29, 1942 – Letter from the Mayor of the city of Bône to the Prefect of Constantine communicating to him, on 94 sheets, “a list of 3,385 names of Jews who had been awarded ration cards with date of birth and domicile”.

Editor’s note : We may read in particular (page 227) the name of SIRAT René (as well as those of his father Ichoua, his mother Oureïda, and his brother Edmond), born November 13, 1930, who was Chief-rabbi of France from 1981 to 1988.
