Description

This report gives information about Nessim Zrehen, born in Tiberias (Palestine) of Mardoché and Douna.

1. He is employed by the Compagnie Schiaffino in Algiers. He is considered a rogue business agent in native circles.

2. He requested a visa to go to Morocco for the liquidation of an estate and to Tangier for a settlement of debts. His request was rejected.

3. He also applied for a visa for his daughter Dina, born in Haifa (Palestine) and his son Jacques born in Alexandria (Egypt).

4. At the Headquarters of the Algiers Division, he is considered to be an “intelligence swindler, a dangerous individual who cannot be left at liberty, and who should be directed to a supervised stay camp”. On the other hand, he is described as “courageous and loyal informant” by Mr. Milliot, former director of the Native Affairs.
