This report indicates the “great activities of the Israelite Consistory of Oran, which seeks to find very quickly situations for the dismissed Jewish officials, or for Jews affected by the law”. The Consistory also organizes numerous meetings of representatives of all the corporations, the Jewish annuitants are also convened. Jewish circles fear an imminent takeover of their property.
