Extract from the newspaper El Bassaïr on the Arab question, November 25, 1938
Description
Author Abou Yala Zouaoui is surprised at England’s attitude towards Arabs and believes that Jews should live on good terms with Muslims throughout Africa and Asia. He thinks that England is trying to sow discord between Arabs and Jews so that they are exterminated. He is outraged by the attitudes of two prominent Algerian personalities: Mr. Mallarmé and Mr. Duroux, who have accused each other of loving and defending Arabs and Muslims.
