This letter concerns a note from the Center for Information and Studies of the Prefecture of Algiers, relating to the work by Charles Hagel, Le Péril juif, published in Algiers in 1934 and recently put on sale. It is a question of banning the book, because of passages that could “feed anti-French propaganda” or help “feed the discontent of Muslims”.
