Rapport journalier du Groupe d’études antiracistes sur les activités antiracistes, du 6 au 7 septembre 1943
Description
The report provides an account of the founding meeting of the anti-racist study group which was held in Algiers on September 5. Bernard Lecache indicates that the aim of the new group is to fight against racist theories of Nazism. The bulletin “Cahier antiraciste” should appear shortly, if the authorities allow it. Several members spoke during the meeting, in particular on the need for this new group in relation to the LICA (International League against Antisemitism), on the anti-Semitic bullying suffered by the Jews in the army, on marriage mixed which could be, according to Mr. Karfati “a means of disarming anti-Semitic prejudices”.
