Description
This report quotes various extracts from Charles Hagel’s “Peril Juif”, a pamphlet put up for sale in newsstands in Algiers, including a chapter on Algerian Jews and “containing very harsh criticisms against the French administration”. The latter fears, because of some of these passages, anti-French propaganda and wishes to withdraw the book from sale.
