Note, 22 février 1942
Description
This note concerns the association “Les Amis de la Tradition juive” in Marseille, which deals in particular with facilitating the observance of the Hebrew Law among the Jews disseminated in the territory. It is a cultural association chaired by the Chief Rabbi Weill Ernest and whose headquarters were in Colmar. This one was folded up in Marseilles, at the residence of Mr. Muller, lawyer of the Bar of Paris, which is in charge of the drafting and the distribution in the free zone and also among the Alsatian Jews refugees in Algeria, of the pastoral letters drawn to 2000 copies and previously approved by the Central Censorship Service in Vichy.
