The events in Palestine are always watched with attention by the Israelites who are discreet.

Some Israelites from Aflou who left for Palestine write to their families that they were badly received by their co-religionists from Central Europe and that they are not very satisfied with the living conditions. Some have reportedly expressed the intention of returning to Algeria. The authorities are wondering about this return which could provoke a current of anti-Semitism among the Muslim populations satisfied with the emigration of the Israelites.
