Description

This report gives an overview of July, August and September 1939, on the activities of elected Muslim, reformist ulemas, religious brotherhoods. One can also read there information on the party of the Algerian people, the Moslem Congress, the European party on the indigenous activities. A strong movement of discontent on the part of the Muslim and Israelite population is observed when news of the entry of Russian troops into Poland. A slight nervousness was manifested in certain European circles about the Jews accused of doing everything to escape the mobilization.
