Description

The report mentions the notes of the caids of Mouka, Tigrine and Ouzellaguen.

1. The population of Mouka remains absolutely calm. She wants the cessation of hostilities. The advance of the enemy armies worries her a lot.

2. The citizens of Tigrine have an excellent spirit, confidence in the French government, and pride of their sons who heroically fought the invader.

3. The passage of planes intrigues the population of Ouzellaguen, who are worried and anxious. She thinks the planes are intended to meet Italian planes on the border with Tunisia.

4. The economic situation is mixed. Some products are becoming scarce.

Commune mixte in the French colonial period is a neighborhood managed by civil servants French, Arab (indigenous), and Jews.
