Description

This report describes the feeling of tranquility of the indigenous populations following the signing of the armistice. They don’t have a clear perception of the defeat of France. The educated natives, meanwhile, feel great sadness and emotion. From an economic point of view, the general rise in prices has made life more difficult, supplies are carried out under good conditions.

Commune mixte in French colonial period is a neighborhood managed by civil servants French, Arab (indigenous) and Jews.
