Description
This report mentions a calm political situation. Two or three day laborers left France after the Germans arrived and were impressed by the strength and discipline of the invader. From an economic and agricultural perspective, the situation is mixed. The result of the harvest is not satisfactory, the sirocco has caused damage. Day laborers find work on farms and logging sites.
Commune mixte in French colonial period is a neighborhood managed by civil servants French, Arab (indigenous) and Jews.
