Description
The report describes the state of mind of the populations, particulary “a certain uncertainty in the future”, following the military defeat, the invasion of France and the signing of the Armistice. The indigenous population “was impressed by the unexpected and rapid defeat of our weapons”. The report also mentions the functioning of the Indigenous Provident Society and indications on the assistance to the families of the mobilized.
