Description

The report deals with the shopkeepers’difficulty  in Bone to cope with the English blockade on staples (oil, sugar, coffee, soap, tea, but also alcohol).

In response to the blockade, the government had settled restrictions (opening hours control and sale of certain commodities or not) that are perceived as unfairly applied between French and indigenous shopkeepers.
