Note from the General Police Commissioner to the Prefect of Constantine on an incident between Jews and Arabs.

Angry by a comment said by an Arab waiter or by the slowness of the service, a Jewish client from a cafe in Constantine insulted the Arabs and provoked an incident. He apologized immediately and the situation was quickly brought under control by the Police and the coffee Owner.
