The context: Murder of a Jewish policeman in Sétif by Muslim soldiers and civilians, in response (according to them) to the death of a Muslim Soldier.
Remarks and recommendations of the Chief Prosecutor: 1. The atmosphere among the Muslim population is hostile. 2. The hatred toward the Jews is old and not specifically linked to the incident 3. The Minister of Justice must change the place of the Criminal Court because of the tension in Sétif and the pressure on the Judges.
