A letter describing the situation of prisoners in concentration camps
Description
In a letter from 19 November 1942, Leslie Heath describes to Dr. Edourd Wyss-Dunant (M.D) from the Red Cross the situation of prisoners in the concentration camps and their desire to be released from the camps.
In his reply (dated 24 November 1942) Dr. Edourd Wyss-Dunant says that the Red Cross mandate is to take care of the prisoners only when they are in the camps, that once they are released he can't help them, that some prisoners should not be released, and that the Red Cross does not have any say in military issues.
