Description

 Letter of the German Consulate in Tétouan (Tetuan), authored by the consul Mr. Brosch, to the German Embassy in Madrid, concerning illustrated reports in French Moroccan newspapers about the former Crown Prince’s visit in Casablanca. According to those reports, on April 23, the former Crown Prince arrived, together with many more German tourists, on board the steamboat “Columbus.” The reports seemed to have caused a sensation among the French public in Morocco. The letter contains a handwritten note from an official of the Embassy in Madrid saying that they will not forward a copy to Paris, since copying the letter did not appear worthwhile and the attached newspaper clipping had already been received from the Consulate in Larache.
