This report mentions the letter from Fougali, a former communist activist in Constantine, to Abdelhamid Benbadis. Fougali describes the unease of the Algerian Muslim natives in the face of the events in Palestine, “the blood which flows in Palestine by the Jewish and English bullets is none other than the blood which flows in our veins”. Fougali blames Benbadis.
