Description

This document is divided into two parts. The first part is a text written by Bourgarel, Superior of the Sacred Heart, representing S. Monsignor Delay. The author protests “against an unjust, odious and Christian anti-Semitism”. The article describes the spirit of Catholicism, its universality, etc. He writes “the Christian condemns all forms of injustice, he stands up against this error which is called racism, this shame which is called anti-Semitism”.

The second part describes the meeting of the LICA, in which more than 2000 people participated. Several people spoke, including Canon Bourgarel, Rabbi Salzer, Professor Cornil, etc. Several subjects are raised: the dedication of Algerian troops during the war, Algerian anti-Semitism, the anti-French policy of many mayors devoted to Franco, the absurdity of racist theories, the service of the Jews during the Great War, etc.
