Rapport mensuel sur l’activité muslmane dans le Département de Constantine, octobre et novembre 1947
Description
This report gives an overview of October and November 1947 on political activity in Constantine and on the many external events of interest to Muslim circles.
The Israelite holiday of Yom Kippur took place everywhere in peace.
An Irgun group was reportedly formed in Constantine at the beginning of October. A Zionist section would also have been created in Bône and would have the aim of raising funds in order to facilitate the departure of the Jews towards Palestine. The passage in the department of Mrs. Dina Verts, delegate of the Israelite Charities, is noticed. “This propagandist” takes the floor to expose her co-religionists to the Palestinian question and to create local committees of the Jewish National Fund.
