This report provides an overview of July 1938 on the political activity of elected Muslim officials, reformist ulama, the Algerian People’s Party, etc. We can also read the information on the youth of the Algerian Muslim Congress, the action of the European parties on the Natives, the native workers, the economic question, etc.
The Palestinian conflict is commented on insistently in Muslim circles. England and Zionist policies are sharply criticized, along with encouragement given to help Palestinian Arabs.
An Israelite Felberman, originally from Romania, was seen, asking his co-religionists for sums of money intended for the Jews living in Palestine.
Several anti-Semitic brochures and leaflets are circulating in the department.
